Contact your Supervisor

Please write and call your county supervisor to let them know you urge support for an inspector general.  They have the authority to create an independent inspector general. The return on investment of a qualified inspector general is enormous when you consider the potential savings garnered by avoiding tens of millions of taxpayer dollars paid in lawsuits.

Ask them to utilize the legal authority granted to them under AB 1185 and step up to their responsibility to the Sheriff’s Office and residents. It is common sense, fiscally responsible, and good government. We are one of the last Bay Area counties not to have an inspector general.
